Recently I was researching the life cycle of bees and wasps and dissecting and photographing a wasps’ nest.  This exploration of the cells prompted me to think about how at Yorkshire Artspace we work in cells (studios) within a hive of artistic activity and production.  This led me to explore my experiences and emotions since moving into my first studio in Porter Brook.  Each piece represents a significant step in my emotional journey since moving into my studio and demonstrates my process and methods of working.  There are 6 boxes:

1: Brave, 2: Fear, 3: Excitement, 4: Pleasure, 5: Frustration, 6: Spirited
